Business Developer

 

Specific Duties

  • Use networking skills to identify decision-makers within an assigned list of businesses.
     
  • Discuss the company's business needs and strategic objectives on a peer-to-peer basis with middle and senior-level executives.
     
  • Form a good market understanding and an ability to understand a company's pain, produce concise reports to generate opportunities for enterprise software solutions.

Candidacy Prerequisites

  • Ability to identify decision-makers
  • 2-3 years inside telesales or telemarketing experience with the desire to be more involved in the sales process; outside sales experience a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to have meaningful conversations with executives
  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize information into valuable intelligence
  • A working knowledge of the high-technology B2B industry
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent, with strong academic credentials
  • A high level of energy, self-motivation, competitiveness, and desire to make an impact
  • Strong typing skills and experience using MS Access or an equivalent database
  • Language skills: French or German
